We are happy to present you the new collection of bikinis by Lola Luna for 2012. The collection includes a variety of mini g-string bikinis as well as Brazilian style deep cut brief bikinis. Each bikini comes with FREE matching costume jewellery– a necklace or a bracelet. Matching pareos are also available for selected styles.
Trend 1: Rich Colours
This year lingerie and sleepwear designers expressed love for rich, intensive colours. Prominent European lingerie brands such as Aubade, Lise Charmel, Assia Lingerie, Valisere incorporated elements of vivid colours in their collections. Deep, luxurious tones of purple, amethyst, burgundy, fuchsia, indigo, ruby red and emerald green are accentuated with gold elements, black lace, Swarovski crystals and stones.
Trend 2: Black on Nude
Embracing retro chic, designers are effectively combining nude and black colours in their lingerie collections. Beige materials, both in matte finish and with a shimmering golden glow, are used as a foundation, which is designed to blend in with a skin tone. The outline is created with black lace with attention grabbing patterns, decorative black stripes, fabric inserts and embellishments. The styles are ranging from retro pin-up to tattoo effect and fetish inspired bondage imitation. This trend is also transferred to shapewear.
Trend 3: Shapewear
This year lingerie designers crossed the two opposites, shapewear and fine lingerie. The trend is not new but it had been long forgotten until now. In the past several decades the term “shapewear” was perceived as something boring and unsexy. Aesthetic properties of shapewear had been completely neglected as manufacturers become too obsessed with the technical characteristic. Fortunately, this year lingerie designers reminded us that figure correcting undergarments can be elegant end sophisticated. Many brands presented beautiful pieces of shaping lingerie inspired by the old world glamour. High wasted briefs, full bodies, waist-hugging suspender belts and girdles made a comeback. The major highlight of the growing trend was a rebirth of the iconic French brand Scandale.
Trend 4: Romantic style
Romantic style is all about softness and femininity. This season lingerie creators are offering lots of flirty and delicate lingerie in soft pastel colours of beige, rose and pale blue. These pieces are made from flowy materials, such as silk, chiffon and Chantilly lace to achieve a loose fit and promote a sense of lightness and wellbeing. Elements of design include pleated fabric, ruffles, layers, vintage floral prints and embroideries, bows and fabric flowers. Some pieces are embellished with pearls or Swarovski elements to add a luxurious touch.
Lola Luna has released a new micro version of their famous Charleston G-String. It is the same classy retro-inspired design but very tiny. Lola Luna Charleston micro g-string features a contrasting combination of skin coloured, slightly shimmering fabric and black lace. The g-string is completed with chain inserts with brown crystals connecting the side straps with the front panel. Lola Luna Charleston micro is now available at Angel’s Dream online boutique.
The new delightful collection by Marquise in Love, Reine Marguerite is now available at Angel’s Dream online shop. The colour theme for this collection is latte beige and rich chocolate. The collection consists of closed and open mini g-strings, chain necklace with crystals in three different colours, and two types of matching pairs of earrings – one with crystals and another with detachable tassels.

Lola Luna Agatha g-string and Lylou micro g-string are two new beautiful vintage inspired creations by Lola Luna. Both designs are made in pastel tones with beige colour lace that has a true vintage hand-made appearance.
Lola Luna Agatha has a front side fully made from loosely weaved guipure lace. The backside is a signature Lola Luna embroidered design imitating lace up. The sides are adorned with jewellery enclosures with Swarovski crystals and pearl settings.
Lola Luna Lylou is a little sister of the old favourite design Lucy Lou micro. It’s a very tiny micro g-string with pale pink embroidered rose on delicate ivory tulle and refined crochet lace trimming at the top. The g-string is completed with antique design jewellery chains with pink crystals on sides.
Just in time for Christmas Lola Luna presents new design – Irina G-Strings. Stunning oriental-inspired design g-string in rich burgundy and metallic bronze colours featuring a combination of soft velvet with flower embroidery and shiny dark-bronze cut-out lace. The side straps are decorated with pink Swarovski crystals chain enclosures.
This exotic design is available in both closed and open version. Irina open g-string is completed with detachable ball pendant with sparkling pink Swarovski crystals. The closed version is closed down the middle with shiny mesh fabric and decorated with lace.
